4 Day/4 Night Summer itinerary Phang Nga Bay
10:00-10:30 you are picked up at the lobby of your hotel and drive to Chalong Bay, where the yacht is waiting for you. You are welcomed by the captain and crew of Cataleya and after a short boat briefing and cabin allocations we set sails and head East to Ko Mai Thon, a small island with the first opportunity to jump into the clear waters and go snorkeling. We stay here for lunch and see if we can spot dolphins which often roam the area around this island and in the afternoon we set sail for Ko Yao Yai where we will spend the evening.
We have breakfast and a morning swim, and then we set sails for Chicken Island, which has some great beaches and good snorkeling. We stay there for lunch and enjoy the scenery In the afternoon we proceed to Railey Beach where you have the opportunity to walk around the peninsula and watch the rock climbers, visit some bars on the west coast beach or just enjoy the stunning scenery.
After breakfast we head West to Ko Hong which belongs to Krabi province, there the kayaks come in handy and you can explore the hong (a room inside the island) and even paddle around the corner to one of the beaches. We spend some time here to enjoy the peace and have lunch on the beach buffet style, prepared by our on board cook. After lunch we sail to Ko Panak for some more kayaking experience, here the hongs are deep within the island and we need flash lights to see in the dark. There are several caves to be visited all of them featuring stalactites and stalagmites. We sail on to Ko Hong (the one which belongs to Phang Nga Bay and stay there for the night.
Ko Hong is yet another kayaking high spot with its nooks and crannies and hidden gems. You are surrounded by limestone islands and it is a stunning scenery.
After breakfast we sail to James Bond island, famous because parts of the movie “The man with the golden gun” was filmed here. After the visit to this island, we head further North to explore the mangrove rivers, which stretch for miles. Late afternoon we sail South to Ko Naka Yai, which has a nice beach, perfect for checking out the shells which might have been washed up with the tide.
We depart in the morning after a morning swim and breakfast and head for Chalong Bay, where we will arrive at 11:00 for your departure.
